Stop Crying, Wipe Your Tears - Introducing…. NQ-RARBG!

Hello members of /r/Piracy,

SlideMovies presents to you NQ-RARBG (Not Quite RARBG).

The death of RARBG has been truly saddening for all of us.

We have gathered developers and have started work on a RARBG clone.

The clone aims to have all the torrents from RARBG (except XXX), and then open registrations, so more people can add torrents. However, this will be under strict moderation to prevent the spread of malware.

GitHub: https://github.com/Not-Quite-RARBG/main

Link: https://nq-rarbg.to/

We encourage more and more developers to contribute and help us with our goal.

Thank you,

The SlideMovies Team

One thing I REALLY hope doesn’t make it into the clone… Rarbg made a point of claiming every single entry was seeded, despite the fact that pretty much anything more than a few months old was in fact not seeded and could only be obtained if another user came back. If you wanted to grab a TV show that had ended a couple years ago, you could bet that many episodes had a number of peers listed who were hoping it would be seeded again, but they never were. I guess I should clear out that stuff from my client now, but I actually have entries that have been waiting for up to two years because I couldn’t find them anywhere else.

So if any of the devs are reading this thread, please don’t insult your users in this way. Rarbg eventually became my last resort for finding downloads since I knew I couldn’t trust if anything was seeded, despite the high quality of the files that were represented when you could get them.

To be fair, there are plenty of places to get porn for free online now. Who needs to download gigs of porn anymore??

Probably people with a NAS running stash app with libraries of over 20tb of full length 4k videos sorted by actors, studios, and tags. If I had to guess.
