Lol lunch breaks. I wonder how soon it takes for that to be on the chopping block too. :(

I’ve been considering the opposite. Life has only been getting worse and with this there future is guaranteed to be much worse.
I have my cat to worry about though, so I’m stuck here until she goes.
Last Week Forever: “Surprise twist this week: Trump good? Here’s why Trump is God and we should always worship him!”
who sued the Trump administration almost 100 times while he was attorney general.
Well I now worry for them since the DOJ will now be the arm of Trump to go after “political opponents” who “unfairly persecuted” him. :(
Just depression in general. I don’t want to live one lifetime, let alone never being able to die.
If you’re immortal in a body that isn’t broken then that might be a different story, but you’d still grow to love people only to have to lose them and go through that pain over and over.
No no no, they’re saying buy more NTFs! They just need to be different apes so you can have a broad index of them!
:P
I was never going to “find myself” and so I should have just gone to college with my friends for computer science and made the good money when jobs were easier to get even though I had no interest at all in it. Hindsight is 20/20 and all that jazz. Now I’m a worthless schmuck in a factory living in someone’s garage paying their mortgage in rent prices.
All my interests are hobbies, some of them even too expensive for me to do lol they’re nothing you can monetize.
I guess if we’re going to keep using war and conflict terms you could say we’re in a cold civil war.
We might as well call schools “sporadic shooting galleries” the way we’ve been treating the issue… It’s absolutely absurd :(
According to some of the information in here they seem to be claiming we’re still overestimating Dem performance in presidential elections, but that midterm elections where Trump isn’t on the ballot thing are more accurate. :(
I’m almost positive Trump wins with how close all the swing states are now and how he’s improving in polling (what the actual fuck people?!) the closer we get to the election.
I’m also almost positive we will not know for sure on election night as I absolutely expect R controlled states to drag their feet and declare “irregularities” that they need to investigate if they don’t like the way things are going.
Super optimistic title there lol
I’m with Cowbee. I don’t see this happening outside of a few mom and pop places that decide to do it on their own until “government” forces the change. Just look at the 3 letter jackasses freaking out about WFH.
I spent 3 hours reading Amazon reviews for shoes just trying to find ONE fucking pair that didn’t have “falls apart in 3-6 months” as the most common review…
The state of everything is just absurd.
I guess I got triggered by “northerners” lol I’m from long Island NY and it gets absolutely brutal in the summer. The NE gets surprisingly gross in the summer months
It gets to be 90°F with a dew point of ~75°F where I am.
You can swim in the air with those numbers and absolutely suffer heat stroke. Fans just circulate the humid as fuck hot air. :(
I’ve started noticing that now that I cook 100% of the food I eat. No more processed anything, no more prepackaged anything, no more eating out.
Mostly because of money and my location, but I’m better off for it.
“Press 1 to continue followed by the Octothorpes”
Lol I love it
Indubitably!
It means most certainly, beyond questioning.
And it’s fun to say!
Introducing Walz as a VP hopeful sounds like they’re describing a Palin-level government official, not someone who has been active in politics for years.
They did the same to Vance though. Isn’t he a Senator? They didn’t mention that, just that he’s somebody hoping to be Trump’s VP. They also provided what I would see as a positive point for Walz: a football coach. That could be taken as he has an interest in teaching others, possibly children, but they don’t specify there.
I’d have to agree, however much I know media is biased, that this one is fairly neutral.
It’s not exactly “us.” We don’t determine whether Kamala runs with an asinine message like “we’re going to hire Republicans” or “I wouldn’t do anything different than Biden.”
That’s her stupidity and I think why so many people sat out the election. As the articles are pointing out, the people that sat out the election were in “safe” states, so they were completely uninspired to vote but knew not voting wouldn’t have affected the outcome (except locally which is still stupid.)
