Sorry about the troll. Here’s a serious answer: LM actually stands for laborious meandering.
Hence compressed file formats like PNG, MP3/4, etc for different kinds of compressible media. Compression is all about representing data in an often dynamically sized latent space such that the majority of the data being sent needs a latent space that is much smaller than the full representation of the data.
Thanks for entertaining my ideas! :D
If you acquired a fake lottery ticket, you could make it look like you thought you were going to repay it once you got the payout. That could also at least delay the giftees from asking too many questions. You wouldn’t wanna drop dead the very next day either, wouldn’t it be better to wait a little bit?
Oh okay, thanks for explaining.
They’re identical, I’m confused.
Would they also have to PROVE that you knew you were going to die? What if you committed suicide, but made it look like an accident?
(This is purely hypothetical, before you get concerned. I don’t have the credit required to get a card with that high of a ceiling.)
What if you sold all of your stuff and maxed out a bunch of credit cards to buy people stuff so you had no actual estate?
In order for niche communities to have a sustainable flow of content, you need a massive amount of users overall. Another obstacle is that niche communities can’t grow much because with barely anyone in them, nobody has any reason to go to them.
I wasn’t using my Linux system daily, so I had to update things in bulk when I would open it up. That can apparently lead to a lot of problems with Manjaro. If you used it daily, I’m not surprised you didn’t run into issues.
I could never use icons that look so same-y. The changes to Google’s apps’ icons drove me nuts. To each their own, I guess!
Manjaro is… less than stable, at least in my experience.
I haven’t tried the store release, but an issue I had with the PWA was that it was too laggy if you scrolled a lot. It also occasionally jumped around and would make you lose your place if you visited a community, changed the sorting mode, and then went back to your homepage.
How is this rage bait? It seems like an inno-
Wait.
Goddamnit.
Must be a new feature. I looked and couldn’t figure it out.
The bottom nav that you can’t disable drove me up the wall.
I haven’t tried EndeavourOS, but I had lots of problems with Manjaro breaking after updates. It seemed like every time I waited more than a week before booting it, it would shit itself in some new and unique way.
Yes! It’s actually quite popular.
That’s kind of what you want, though. A big enough operation that it probably won’t just disappear or start enforcing really arbitrary and unreasonable rules, but small enough that it’s not like lemmy.world.
