Not exactly my favorite movie, but one I regularly recommend: Mind Game (2004)
Minecraft is pretty fun, especially if you’re new to gaming. Lots of different ways to play.
And Minetest is a great FOSS clone.
Realistically, Debian, because it existed when the movie was set.
