Ill have a look cheers!
When I have the timer on and the screen is locked and it runs out it gives me an option to stop but not to reset and restart. So I have to unlock my screen got turn the clock app change to Timer tab reset and restart.
Im asking if there is any FOSS app because there is plenty of apps on PlayStore that are doing it but im on GrapheneOS
I don’t know of such a FOSS app
Not to be an ass, but that’s what I was asking about
I used to have an app and it would count 30s every 30 min and I didn’t have to press anything to reset it. It also had an option to vibrate rather than beeping (within app not phone wide)
I cant achieve that with a timer
See as much as I dislike the company, I can see how it would make sense from a business and logic point of view. They are paying for the servers and, to some extent and form, for the content, and by using any ad blocking content you sabotage their earnings from this platform. I’m surprised they are not blocking browsers with said plugins, but that would cause a major uproar. But then again, not much competition around…
No.1 Apparently not present on uBlock Origin, which makes it not a problem for me (though it’s shite that they are doing it anyway). I don’t use YouTube that often anyways.
No.2 You are not loosing a lot - it’s most likely some crappy video about a guy slipping on a banana peel or some shit like this - 99.9% you are not missing on much :D
I get that it was delivered with bugs and server issues. I get that it wasn’t what was promised to the players. But being toxic to the devs? Fucking get a grip. You don’t like it? Get a refund. And probably don’t preorder in the future.
Any tips for finding good English language content? The most popular stuff seems to be in German
Reduce first but have attainable goals. Go easy and steady.
For some folks cold Turkey works best but it might not be for you.
Most importantly, find a reason that’s really important to you.
Maybe try sports - something measurable. It easier to tell yourself no after a cardio as you realise how it ruins what you just achieved.
Anyone has any idea why you can’t buy Mi Band 1S anywhere nowadays? Like literally nowhere - almost. There is this store: https://geecr.com/product/mi-band-1s
But it seems kinda scammy?
What do you mean firmware isn’t?
What is it called?
Can I use my current Signal account/use it with other people that rely on Signal?
What is it and why?
Thank you :)
We are not even that close, we have a casual chat once in a blue moon and she is very nice. I just want to make sure she can get help when she needs it.
That is really cool, but too techy for me. I need something plug and play.
But thank you so much for this suggestion and code offer!
Thanks for you answers so far.
My point is, she is still mentally there (I think) so if she wants one of those subscription buttons, she can 100% get it herself.
I was just thinking, as an extra layer of security, if I’m in the area to help out.
Coming from a person having a quarter-life crisis being just a baw hair from their 30s.
You are still extremely young but don’t fixate on this. Telling yourself “I’m still young and have plenty of time to do X or fix the Y” means eventually you will be too old for those things. Unless you will fall ill or there will be some age restricted obstacles, it’s not true. You can learn new skills in your 20s as well as your 40s if you are determined enough. Shifting your career? No bother, I know heaps of people that did just that in their uni days as well as ones that are long into their existing career.
Don’t worry about this. If you fell behind the pack with your studies, means it wasn’t for you. Whether it was the nature of your course, or maybe a uni in general. Going to university is not for everybody, just like doing manual labour is not for everybody. Use this opportunity to ask yourself a question, WHY did you drop out. Is it because you were too lazy? If you had true passion for it, you would find motivation to do it.
No shame in that. I know people that are in their 30s and live with their parents to save money for their first home. Use this opportunity to enjoy your life without certain worries. The time to pay taxes, rent and for your food will come and you will look back fondly on this period of your life :) It would still be a good idea to chip in for utilities and food to your parents if you have means to do so. Will probably make you feel better about living there.
Good. Do mistakes. You learn more from your mistakes than from the things you did right. But the important thing is to analyze WHY you made those mistakes.
Maybe check if there is a career advisor near you/on your campus? They offer free advise based on what interests you. Ask yourself what are things in your life that you are passionate about or what kind of stuff do you enjoy doing. Remember, if you are passionate about something, there is a way to make it into your career. There is a reason why some people that are truly passionate about video games, they go into streaming career, and they are very successful. Me for example, I love playing video games, but I don’t see myself doing for a full on career, because I want to keep it as my private hobby, and I lack certain traits to become a successful streamer (English is not my first language, I’m self conscious and I lack certain charisma).
Do it. Only by trying you will learn anything about yourself. Hypothesising will only get you this far.
That’s my advice :)
