There’s a systemd OOM service that can be setup. I use CachyOS and they have it as a checkbox to turn it on or off.

All my friends remember when by about +/-3 days. Every year I invite everyone to meet for food and drinks one night.
Retail has become a very tiring roller coaster. Season by season things shift wildly from mega fun, to dog shit. And it makes no sense. The WoW team has to have all the metrics on what people like and don’t like, yet they’ll go double down and try something that was universally hated just 1-2 years ago. The biggest is when they cater to casual players, everyone loves it. So 1-2 seasons later they cater to the hardcore and everyone leaves and the game sucks.
I’ve run it on and off for about 6 months. Just switched to it as daily driver. Absolutely love it. Arch but with automatic x64v3/4, including Wine & Proton?! Sign me up. Which is installed with an fantastic gaming meta package, and I regularly get ~10% FPS boost. Excellent default kernel, too.
The woman in grey, in the middle of the thumbnail, looks like she had surgery done to look like the gigachad meme.
Correct, for Linux atm it’s mainly app image only for v3 versions.
Edit: for anyone using any app images, I highly recommend Gear Lever to manage them, including updates.
I like Zen so much I stopped browser hopping. It has sane defaults, vertical tabs default, and it’s x64_v3 optimized speed is nice. Default theming is nice, too.
Pipewire can adjust the sample rate on the fly to match what all is playing, so maybe if there is a hypervisor that can do the same?
+1 for Cachy, its Arch with cheat codes for speed.
Isn’t Israel’s dirty little money fingers in damn near every nook and cranny of all of the USA’s federal elections, and by large amounts?

1440p@144hz. I play a lot of competitive shooters, and capping single player games @90 or 120 for best graphics.
This also handles the device settings and open-razer driver, it’s more than just RBG control. I use it to set polling rate and DPI, my mouse doesn’t have rbg, either.
Danse Macabre, classical music.
Zen rocks, I under estimated how much faster it would be with the AVX2 build!
Look for the option when installing that is along the lines of “wipe entire drive.”
If you want Debian, check out Vanilla OS. They reached a milestone not too long ago, and it’s a bulletproof distro. It containerizes most programs, it’s immutable, and has atomic updates.
Someone already mentioned, turn off secure boot in your BIOS/uefi settings.
So to update this meme to be real and current: Can it run Hunt Showdown 1896, with it’s brand new Cryengine update. Spoiler alert, it’s beautiful.
It also runs fabulously via Steam and Proton.
Alan Wake 2 legit blurs the line when presenting a character; between film footage and digitizing the actor. Even the games environments blend in photographed and filmed objects. It’s a masterpiece of a game, with beautiful graphics, and a fun and bonkers story.
I should be playable from Epic Games Store via Lutris or similar. Or from sailing the high seas.
Its a competitive game, it’s going to be free 2 play, so it’s naturally going to attract all kinds of people, including the heated, toxic, and as you put it hard-R league players. It comes with the territory of playing a competitive PvP only game. Report them, laugh at their smooth brains, mute them, and move on.
I’ve been playing quite a bit since May, and I’ve encountered way more friendly people in voice comms than not. Most matches are silent with people only using the ping system/wheel the game has baked in. About 1/2 of my losses are hit with a “gg ez” in text chat though. I respond along the lines of congrats bro, you’re better than me at a closed beta testing game with an NDA. 😂
Running cover for them though…Cmon now…thats a huge stretch…
Just look up W10 LTSC. Shouldn’t bug you with upgrades, and has a few more years support.
