1 year agoDude, piano is so simple compared to guitar in a theory sense. The notes are all in a row. If you learn the fretboard on guitar first, it transfers so easily.

I wish I were a whittlin’ man. I’d by a cabin and put a rockin’ chair on the porch, wear a straw hat, an smoke a pipe whilst whittlin’ little forest creatures.
I’ve been playing guitar and singing for 20 something years. When you really hit a groove and nail a song, it’s an indescribable feeling. You kind of travel outside yourself. Now, when you get others involved and make music, it’s transcendental.
It’s like having a conversation with your buddies. It’s a good time.

I was permanently suspended, so I can’t see it.
Teaching was hard physically and emotionally and my mental health started to suffer. I was so exhausted at the end of the day that my own kids and myself didn’t get the best version of me. MY new job can get boring, but boring is a blessing after what I’ve been through.
I used to be a PE teacher, and now I sell parts for automation.
