It’s curious to see how things merge between languages. In Spain, both usufruct (usufructo) and eruction (eructo) are quite common words.
About the peeing at night, a doctor I saw in TV said that if during the day you don’t go immediately to pee when you feel the need but when you REALLY need to, then it’s easier to stay sleeping at night. He explained how there are 2 mechanisms to control pee: the bladder (I think that’s the word in English?) and the brain. And that quite often we train the brain to go to pee before it’s phisically needed.
I don’t doubt it may work for some people (placebo maybe?) but not for me. I have sinusitis, I was told that I may breathe well with acupuncture. Five sessions later, zero improvement, and a lot of money spent. The guy told me that I may need 5 more sessions because somehow my body was not reacting as expected…. For free? No, paying again. No, thanks.
That’s an incredibly naive answer.
I’ve never used those. How does it work, you see a picture of the people or is it real video of them?

Because I don’t care about how the owner of the service is.

Many things. Great things like general kindness of the people, the way the States handle national parks, the mentality of taking responsibility about your own live. And just mundane things like those awesome bbqs!
It happens in Spain too. Huge difference in the number of votes needed in Barcelona to get a representative, compared to rural provinces.
And at the same time, we europeans who have been in the USA (so we just don’t follow what media wants us to think) love so many things in the USA. Are the States flawed? Yes. Are Europeans country flawed too? Absolutely. I don’t like the bullying the world thing, but I’m happy I’m on ‘tesm bullying’ and not ‘team Russia’ or middle east.
Spain: you need a justification and they are super hard to get. The most common one is to use it in Training Centers and you are forced to use it there every year or you lose it. Besides police I’ve never seen a gun in the street as it is strictly forbidden to carry them.

Lugubre in Spanish. Well known word in this other language. I love this thread!
