Lemmy has a bit more active users which is great. However, I have also noticed that Lemmy has gotten similar things as Reddit these days. Different opinions are not welcome, quick/ angry comments (politic community though)
However, Lemmy now has a decent app(s) such as Voyager. I also love that Lemmy does not restrict/ block users from using swear words (at least the instance I’m on does not).
Though in all honesty, I mostly use an RSS-feed such as Reeder and InoReader.
I’m satisfied, I haven’t seen or noticed any censorship.
Saw the whole fiasco of Reddit unraveling and then went to Lemmy. Seriously fuck Spez and how he treated the developer of Apollo.
Perhaps MPV can, if VLC can’t. I much prefer MPV over VLC.
The issue with YouTube is, I don’t see many people on it to Stream (or I just don’t look in the right direction?). I barely to not use Twitch these days, sometimes Kick but that’s about it.

Twitch has become garbage anyway. I’m more on Kick for streams nowadays.

Was immensely busy and focused to finish my university meanwhile trying to get bit of peace through reading books and gaming.
Also nowadays mainly use rss-feed for everything (Blogs, News, Reddit and Lemmy).

Doing this actually got me back into reading. Started with Manhwa (Solo Leveling) and that spiraled into reading books such as Midnight library, Before Coffee Gets Cold, The Words We keep and now “1984”.
I googled and checked seltzers, but unfortunately, I can’t try them because they contain alcohol (unless I found the wrong ones?)

I can think of two things;
Currently twitch because there are the people, I like to see streaming their games.
I would prefer YouTube because no advertisements due to uBlock. I know there are twitch adblockers but they don’t work very well.
Also twitch seems to be filled with softcore/ lots of almost sexual content which I don’t want to see.

My mother had this, although he was more a chef in the school kitchen and such.

I never disabled it though, might have by accident. Usually hide read posts through the app itself and not the actual account settings.
I, unfortunately, have to agree and that’s why - most of the times, I just check Lemmy posts through RSS-Feed.
I sometimes hop onto Voyager and comment on posts/ articles. But the more hostile, twisting of words and such are happening. The less I will be using Voyager to comment and just use the RSS-Feed to see the posts.
I really liked Lemmy in the early days when people went from Reddit to Lemmy. Miss those times.
