Hatte vor ein paar Tagen genau das gleiche Problem. Hab am iPhone einen Passkey für Google erstellt und das bringt mir halt am Desktop PC oder am Linux Notebook nix. Außer man nutzt kostenpflichtige Anbieter wie 1Passwort welchen den Passkey sharen.

Die Option auf mehreren Geräten einen Passkey für einen Dienst zu erstellen find ich zwar interessant, aber ohne Biometrik auf meinen restlichen Geräten bringt mir das auch nix.

Passkeys find ich grundsätzlich interessant, aber man wird schon sehr an Anbieter wie Google oder Apple gebunden. Mit unterschiedlichen (sicheren) Passwörtern pro Dienst kannst eigentlich auch in Zukunft nix falsch machen. Passkeys soll es dem 0815 User ermöglichen nicht überall das gleiche unsichere Kennwort verwenden zu müssen.

Ich bleib bei Kennwort + optionales 2FA bis Passkeys ausgereift sind.

Swapped my Car for an e-Bike. I save lots of money now and cycling to work is still a moderate training. It’s not always easy, but was worth it overall.

I had to drive 2h hours to the nearest major airport. It took me over 4 hours to get there. I missed the flight by a few minutes. I waved to my Plane as it was leaving the Gate.

Next flight was 1 hour and a few hundred Euros later…
