Thats the neat part about lemmy, every instance can do their own thing.

That’s the beauty of Lemmy, nothing here is centralized. Simply block that instance and don’t interact with anything from them.
If you miss some of their communities you can create your own equivalents and try to encourage people to join yours instead of theirs.
