And that’s the same person who makes wild absurd claims but well just go off the rails and tell you to do your own research

Last week. In an effort to de-google as much of my PC as I could the only chromium based browser I have is edge. I used librewolf for general browsing (unlock) and Firefox for porn (unlock and no script). Librewolf has known issues working with YouTube which will cause even the highest speed internet to have YouTube be choppy AF. So I used edge for YouTube. But there is a known big in edge that logs you out of everything when you close the browser. And after a dozen times of 2FA logging in I just said fuck it and changed my Gmail password…and can’t close edge of I want to continue to watch certain channels
It’s kinda good for people who don’t have the time or the means to go pick up food, but don’t mind paying almost twice as much for lukewarm soggy food
The same people who said sleepy Joe is too senile and incompetent to be president yet also masterminded both Covid-19 and committed the biggest election fraud in the history of this nation…
STILL LOOKING
ITS FOR A CHURCH HONEY!
Didn’t watch it, but the headlines, posts and memes are prime choice so far!
But one thing I haven’t seen mentiones yet is something I only stumbled upon when a browser was showing headline snippets. Harris outright said that both she and Walz are gun owners, they’re not “taking anyone’s guns” and outright told that orange turd to stop with his blatant lies. As a blue gun owner…then fills me with joy.
Listen to Jesus Jimmy, Im the face on the shroud of Turin
Listen to Jesus Jimmy, do I need to test your urine!
The Refer Madness Musical. It’s hilarious. Kristen Bell, Brian Weber, Ana Gastyer, the dude from Tales from the Crypt, and Neve Campbell.
They’d already be a millionaire if it weren’t for the welfare queens and all the immigrants stealing their jobs/benefits!
/s in case it was obvious enough
Because “he did good at Chipotle he do gud here”
And when the expenses for his commute get too high, they just lay off a shitton of employees so the quarterly bottom line looks good.
I’ve actually been considering getting a mini-pc. My old setup at home used to be my main PC hooked up to my TVs in the living room with a wireless keyboard. Id do some low end gaming on it and mostly streaming. Im in process of selling that house and looking to go back into a more traditional setup, with my main PC In a den with actual monitors, but still want to consider the option of having a mini PC in the living room TV for the occasional PC needs, and running lower end party games from steam like Jack Box.
I bought a couple a few years ago, the only one I still use is the PiHole, which has been phenomenal. I did try to use one as a media server but turned out to be more of a pain than it was worth.
I have a pair of bluetooth sportbuds i connect to my work laptop for when i go in the office, and to my phone when i go for a jog. When I’m in the garage putting my running shoes on and put the earbuds in they never connect to my phone which is in my pocket. They instead connect to the work laptop…in the upstairs den…on the exact opposite side of the house. Every. Goddamn. Time.
Half the staff are wearing wool beanies in dead ass middle of summer
Sides are a la carte, fries come in a metal cup with newspaper-style wax/parchment paper
The bottom bun is falls-apart-soggy by halfway through
Claims to have a huge selection of craft beers…all IPAs, a stout, a sour, and PBR
I do HL7 interfaces between healthcare systems. Almost weekly the same people contact me saying “the interfaces are down”.
Me: “Things are up, and messages are flowing”
Them: “But we’re not seeing updates in the other system”
Me: “Did you reach out to their support?”
Them: “They’d just tell us to check out side first”
Me: “We’ll weren’t actively sending messages”
Them: “But I’m not seeing the status change we documented”
Me: “What patient did you document on?”
Them: “Pt XYZ”
Me: “Yup, we sent that message 45 minutes ago and the other system acknowledged/accepted it”
Them: "Then why arent we seeing it?
Me: “Check with their support…”
20 minutes later, yeah there was an issue in the other system. This was a weekly conversation, same users, same applications, same results.
But my favorite variant of this conversation is the one where they eventually realize that the reason they’re not seeing data in the other system is because…the nurse never documented on that patient. Happened too many times
“Well, it’s $5 for use of the hammer, $495 for knowing exactly where to hit the machine.”
Same thing with working in IT
“You just sit and hit buttons all day”
Yeah, but it’s knowing which buttons to press
I really wish Dead Like Me could have lasted longer.
