    You can change brakes, suspension, lights, pretty much everything without software locks. Only drive train is locked, which rarely fails and it does so progressively.

    Also you can enter service mode now and tell it to reflash the whole car. Need a new steering rack or camera for example? Swap the part, hit reflash and the car flashes the correct vin, coding and software into the part and offers calibration afterwards.
    Also built in scantool to read fault codes and do basic diag. More advanced diag needs Tesla Toolbox. Costs $165 for a day of access/$500 per month, but is possible with an ethernet cable and doesn’t need a $1800 SAE J2534 box.














  • Hat das Netzwerk von dem du ins Heimnetz verbindet das selbe ipv4 subnet? Also der Router da die selbe IP? Das kann Probleme machen.

    Hab das selbe setup problemlos am laufen, ich nutze nur Duckdns (da hab ich die ipv4 variable leer gelassen) und wireguard direkt in der FB. Funktioniert problemlos.



  • Meh. Their software is getting worse and worse lol. No deep links inside the interface, and it logs me out, when I reload the site. Why? They redesigned the interface for the 10th time, and the Mesh overview screen still isn’t shown on the mobile site. Their mesh solution completely relies on magic and provides no solutions to my TV, which really likes that one ap which it can reach with 1Mbit/s rather than using the one next to it which would archieve 800+Mbit/s They still persist on using DECT based smart home stuff. Get on with the times and integrate a Thread/Zigbee chip or support USB ones. The NAS functionality is completely useless as it is way to slow. No real VLAN support, still.

    If you need a stable modem and basic wifi, and telephony they are decent. Anything else is better served by the competition.
