Horus sees humans as at best children or pets or disposable tools. There’s no aside or smirk or “yeah but…”. No, they just go with it 100%. 100%! That’s something you don’t see too often.
What I’m asking is, if you have none of those sexual urges coloring your consciousness, would you find romcoms boring?
It might set a certain mood. You feast upon the global conversational banquet, yet you still feel hungry.
One thing I think about is the incredible poverty of text.
When you look at a word you get a meaning. But that meaning, it comes mostly from your entire life’s experience, your memory, what you’ve been taught. That’s huge. And the word is very very small, comparatively.
So when you’re reading, 99% of the content is coming from you. So reading is basically you just talking to yourself. And social media is a million people talking to themselves.
And that’s pretty weird.
I would teach arts and crafts to grade school kids. I’m really good at that stuff (I even have a degree). And I have a good course plan worked out.
Everybody tells me I’d last about an hour tho. I am not good with stress. Grade school kids have like 3x normal energy.

Lacking all that, would romcoms be boring?

I relate. I edit, then edit again. How anybody can come up with the right words the first time is beyond me. And ya, brevity is power.
You want real-ass harry potter magic? ADHD/Sperg/Autist is the gateway. I think that this is missing from the alternative. Like you have an itty bitty piece of 3d matter embedded in your 2d, flatland-living, flatland-society self.
I relate. I sound like a genius in writing, relatively speaking. I guess it’s not uncommon.
That is an opinion that I used to share. No more.

Constraining your topic
A kind of politics-flavored smalltalk. Yes, that is the local dialect.
Believe it or not, I have discussed subjects that matter deeply to me in online forums. But lately it’s just fruitless fishing.
I think we have a thousand mob-squawks posing as niche communities. Different flavors, same conversations.
Completely open and popular forums are not entirely a good thing.
I just said that I don’t mean plainer language.
“Should” is arguable. (For example you might be fishing for the few in the crowd) .
But yes, your choice of topic. That’s what I’m talking about. Sometimes it looks pretty narrow.
And if you do. Well, that carries with it it’s own bucket of implications.
Not talking about simplified writing.
