or maybe Cloudflare just considers you risky
Jokes and whinging aside, you’ve touched on the real complaint, or mine anyway. They should toss me a cookie or whatever. OK cloudflare, my request is coming from a nasty network; but you declared ☑ my browser to be fine and me to be human and our “connection secure” two minutes ago. Remember my browser, pretty please?
Garbage tech. Makes me hate the sites using it, just like Google’s dumpster-juice tier captchas. Might not be so awful if they made it stick, but these tech leviathans can’t manage it apparently. I click over to a site I’ve never been on. Cloudflare: 😲🫴🦋 is this a botnet?
Thanks for checking the comments… we’ve been trying to reach you about your car’s extended warranty.
Meh. It’s a meme community. For most sites, alt-text is a prerequisite for accessibility compliance. For shitposts you could think of it is an act of generosity toward people with vision or cognitive impairment. Some people “abuse it” to tell The Real Joke. Anyway, folks who read it may not be a huge portion of those who enjoy your content, but yes, some of us notice and appreciate it.
If other comments don’t get you sorted, Scrounger does it nicely. (if you trust some random site/ have no sensitive bookmarks; other options exist if not.)
