Still no plans/pricing for Proton Pass Family (only the full proton suite).
Proton is missing many users with this simple lack of effort; not everyone wants drive, vpn, etc.
Some folks just want a password manager for the immediate and extended family; and often times we are willing to just pay a few bucks extra per month and not worry about helping these people after they get hacked, due to terrible passwords.
I’ve been debating for a while to switch windows to Linux and see how well it works for my games, thanks Microsoft for finally pushing me to do it!
Only thing keeping me on windows has been games (all other development use is far easier on Linux); but with the work that happened with Steam Deck, many games are now fully functional on Linux.
Very well said. 100% agree - my projects are hobbies that allow me to contribute back for the many OSS I use, with the added bonus of helping me learn/retain knowledge of languages.
Very interesting research and write up - but holy fuck can we please find a way to share an article that is not cut into tiny snippets of text?
Agreed - having the PSVR1 I have little reason to buy the second gen, but making it work with PC would be much more appealing with its higher resolution and multi platform support. I really hope they can make it work
Stop with the spamming across instances and communities
Example:
https://opensource.org/licenses/ is a good place to find truly open source licenses, as there are some out there that claim to be something they’re not.
What kindle? I’d guess the one that doesn’t require a soldering iron to build…
I would love to have an alternative for kindle, but this is not it; not yet at least
https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=which+cars+have+dynamic+radar+cruise+control
Since 2019 models like Honda Accord, Toyota Camry/Prius/Corolla, Subaru Legacy, and many others have had this tech; very far from 70k robots
With today’s technology, you turn on assisted cruise control and only worry about keeping the car in your lane, while it automatically accelerates/brakes through the traffic.
There is a significant difference in effort of driving manual vs automatic.
When you’re working construction, jumping site to site and at random hours of the day each day, mass transit flys out the window.
And that is before taking into consideration the unique tools you carry with you.
All it took for me was a single drive home during Thanksgiving traffic; a trip that normally takes 10min took an hour, I swore off manual transmissions that day.
I noticed that many of the apps (Mlem, Memmy, etc.) have issues with pulling in latest content, even when searching communities that have thousands of users in them, will come back as no content.
Then you add all the defederation and community blocking and it can seem dead when it really isn’t.
I’ve been tempted to run my own instance for myself only, just to get a raw feed of other instances/communities and decide for myself what to block.
Everyone acting like they weren’t a kid themselves at some point in life. Get over yourself and stfu.
And that is not a good thing.
