Verizon wouldn’t sell anything larger than a 15gb plan - glad those days of juggling SIM cards are past.
But yeah - Starlink has helped a lot. I still have 3 big cell prover SIM cards and modems/router for redundancy.

My residence is registered at my parents house. I’m fortunate for that – not sure what I’ll do when they pass.
The companies I work for are typically smaller - my bosses and teams usually know I’m a bit of a vagrant. When I get acquired by larger companies I’m a little more tight lipped and vigilant with VPN use.
I move every 2 weeks in an RV. So I roughly wake up in 26 different places over the year.
Internet is rough. But has gotten better over the years since I started.
I could imagine that socially it might be difficult for some.
But largely my routine is similar to if I were in a house/apartment:
Weekdays: work, cook/eat, walk/hike/explore, games, sleep. Weekends: groceries, cook/eat, chores/maintenance, relocate if needed, walk/hike/explore, games, sleep.
Oh - I usually remind people they’re giving up a dishwasher and laundry machines unless they’re going pretty big on their RV purchase.
Recently I’ve been parking during the summer and flying to different countries. It’s more or less the same - solid internet is a challenge and you get to work on a potential language barrier.
Good excuse to buy a drone.
You don’t have to confirm/deny - but I’m going to pretend this niche is selling tiefling horns/ears.
…. we’re confident these socks aren’t being stiffened with bodily fluid?
I don’t immediately know what in particular transitions someone from killer to “serial” killer.
But I could see if it was someone who wiped out a van of people or a husband coming back home to his wife cheating with a couple and murdering them being potentially released after a long sentence.
I would add an addendum that they’re 3 separate murders cases and not a single event.
I’m envisioning someone just throwing around Lego bricks constantly.
This doesn’t look like it was written by someone that isn’t intelligent.
You’re probably self medicating yourself through ADHD and/or anxiety and it’s also not helping with the anxiety and/or depression you might be experiencing.
20s is prime “what do I do with my life” for most - and it doesn’t always go away as you age.
Boss saved money on throwing a team building event…
+1 - I dug in deep during Covid and find myself still logging in occasionally for World Versus World.
What roles in tech do you consider needing a Masters?
Yeah… I was kind of worried about that but I guess that’s just if you’re running on OpenWrt device? I’m certainly not on the router plan but maybe my use of running it on Ubuntu and not going crazy on bandwidth isn’t raising flags(?)
I use https://speedify.com to channel bond Starlink and a few LTE/5g carriers on an Ubuntu server and connect that bonded connection to my router. So I’m kind of confused by this projects naming.
Couple other things worth looking at:
+1 to being out of contact – It can honestly wait until the next time you’re near a work computer. (I’m hoping a work laptop or something is involved here.)
Our retirement is tied to it.
I have absolutely no idea what I’m talking about – but I might check if some harness extension with the same pinout exists and if it could be relocated to the interior.
Throwing a smaller 12v fan or some kind of ducting to direct air across the heatsink would certainly be the cheapest/easiest first pass solution.
Yup - I am keeping an eye out for something like this. Not super urgently looking though.
