You probably can still access third-party apps by being a mod. That works for me (with Boost) when the patching method made it unable to login recently.
I did try the revanced reddit app but the stutters make it unbearable to use.

Try Ásbrú Connection Manager for multi-tab SSH. The only thing missing for me was integrated SFTP.

Do games from other stores such as Epic games work with Proton?
IBM bought RedHat a few years back. Been going downhill ever since.
Genymotion should work too, free for personal use.
