100% convinced it’s BS marketing. The most efficient multipurpose humanoid robots can only do basic stuff at 1/50th of the speed of a human and cost as much as 20 Chinese factory workers.

Well, I’m cheap so instead of spending 300 bucks on a Google router I bought three Xiaomi ax3000T for €35 a piece. They are listed as compatible with openwrt but for the last couple of month I’ve just been using them with the stock firmware and the WiFi mesh with backhaul works great.
It’s otherwise very basic though, it lacks many features you’d expect like guest AP and so on…
I used shop and ship but there wasn’t much choice in the UAE. It belonged to Aramex at the time which was a respected UPS like in the region. It was a while back. I can’t speak for what they are worth now and how they work in places where Aramex isn’t as well implanted.
Depending on your country you can use a remailer. I used to use one when I lived in the middle east and couldn’t order from the US. I has a bunch of addresses worldwide you can use to order and they aggregate and forward the packages.
I mean for a hobby project that no one cares about sure. Otherwise the whole CI/CD process was invented exactly to avoid having devs push untested and untrackable crap on production servers. So once there are more than two people in a team and paying customers with access to a lawyer that’s going to be a hard pass.
Anyway the main reason your CI/CD are slow is that you’re using $5 workers with 1Gb ram. There’s a reason the build is faster on your 12 core/64Gb laptop, the issue is usually not the process, the issue is being cheap on the infrastructure. The only good thing about GitHub CI workers is that they are cheap but performance wise they are garbage.
You don’t technically need docker though. It’s just a convenience layer.
Can’t wait for people to stop confusing " “ and «.
Tried browsh ?
What I’ve learned is that using distro packages for dev always bites me in the ass at some point. Absolutely need v4.0.1 of something but your distro only has v4.0.0 ? Congrats you’ve entered upgrade dependency hell.
The best dev distro should be just need a kernel and sh. ;)
I thought it was a typo for “house”.
Apple intelligence is their own project, with their own models. They bought a company specialized in AI at the edge (or on device). All the “AI” that will interact with user’s data is Apple’s.
Still waiting to see what the chat-gpt integration is exactly, but the more I read about it the more it seems it just the usual writing assistant that we will soon find in every text and image editor. And the hint that they will offer Gemini or other model as well really mean they haven’t tied any real features to it.
I also doubt their Apple deal last 5 years,…

I didn’t expect it wouldn’t even last 2 days. 😅
I don’t understand the concept. It’s Debian with xfce and a custom theme. Why is that a distribution. Seems like a meta package would be enough.
