That’s kind of silly comparison, as that money wouldn’t have been available to invest if it hadn’t been spent on a home. It would have been spent on rent instead.

I don’t get what you think that “realization” changes. I occasionally watch videos on YouTube and I’d be willing to pay a certain amount to watch to those videos without ads. Since they don’t offer that, I’m not paying them any money. For the record, they did offer such a plan called “YouTube Premium Lite” not that long ago and they axed it.

Yeah, it’s trash. I switched to the .deb awhile ago because of how bad the snap was.

Why would I pay YouTube that when I can give it directly to the creators though.

I’m only here because Reddit pissed me off. I toss money toward my instance and I’d be fine tossing a few bucks per month to YouTube if it meant no ads.

I would be fine paying for a YouTube premium account if I could get one for like $3-4 that just removes the ads. I don’t want their music service.

This post is really revealing which people are happy with how their lives turned out and which ones aren’t.

Why are you force quitting a game to go use the bathroom? Just step away for a few minutes.

Which anticheat is a “root kit”?

I’ve been playing games that use EasyAntiCheat (Hunt Showdown and Chivalry 2) and they seem to work fine.

Anticheat benefits the users by…reducing the number of cheaters in games. Big concept to wrap your head around, I know.

Is there some reason to think that running Windows 11 Pro for Workstations would have made a difference in a CPU benchmark? I’m not seeing anything obvious on the feature list for that version that would make that be the case.

Did this happen to anyone other than the one guy who made the video about it? I couldn’t replicate it.

Was any else able to verify the claim in the original video? I couldn’t.
