Think you may need to build it from cargo/rust

This is kinda funny because I’ve installed it on Mint and Pop OS and I completely forgot how.

I worked for a major investment bank and one of their exotics trading teams was basically all add-ons and stuff built on top of Excel.
To be fair, the traders looked like Wizards using it, it was pretty neat.
I was gonna make a joke that it’s also an idea that’s on so many street corners and coffee cups. However after googling I found out that it’s a siren on the Starbucks logo and not a mermaid. My joke fails on both humour and fact.
I know it’s absolute schlock but I’d give anything to watch Infinity War for the first time again.
I just loved it and still do but man …
+1 for Wezterm, it also had image support that Alacritty didn’t have, which I needed for Yazi to work.
I’ve heard good things about Warp too but Wezterm is where I’ll be for now.
It’s important to BE Agile than DO Agile.

Yeah, but I think apparently the tests that “could” have caught it relied on mocks which basically rendered it useless in those cases.
Nah man, I minify it so it’s one line…
wait how many files am I loading again? wait, 6000? nuts.
It is definitely annoying but I think it’s understandable from people that are coming in from the outside.
Not sure this is a modern problem, unless something modern has started starving the shrimp.
Hey! What did I do you today to have you come at me like this?
Yeah, almost every review is along the lines of “this is a technical marvel” to “and now it’s sitting on the shelf awaiting a purpose”.
Through VR, Apple was “at least seemingly” going to move from games being the primary use to office work, but every review I’ve seen has been lackluster for that. You can do cool things but it’s missing a lot of features like the screen sharing and stuff.
It seems to fall into the “solution looking for a problem” category.
Same year!
Mavis Beacon teaches typing. BBSs. Cassette tapes with the pencil. I had a Spectrum that used cassettes before I got my Amiga 500.
I actually still like some LTT videos. I just find the thumbnails off-putting … so unless the topic interests me I don’t typically watch anymore.
I really enjoyed the Emily/Anthony bits too.
Crash Course too!

I’m too tired to look it up, but I remember someone saying that resilience or grit was one of the best indicators of success. Someone replied that actually the best indicator of success is if you came from wealth.
I grew a beard after I got food poisoning and the flu back-to-back. I couldn’t be arsed to shave.
I did try shaving years later but I hated nicking my chin with a razor and doing it every day was a pain.
It probably sounds silly but I quite enjoy not memorizing different names for days of the weeks and months like when I was learning french … Lundi, Mardi …
Nice to be like 星期一,星期二,星期三 … for week days and 一月,二月,三月… for months.
Anytime someone says, “tell me why”
I start singing.
