I am not logging back into Twitter. They already lost my trust.

I am going to skip LCD tvs altogether. Right now I am still using my first hd tv, a Plasma TV from 2008, and when I replace it, it will likely be with an OLED.

I would rather have content posted by humans. Lemmy doesn’t need to be reddit anyway.

I do not have first hand knowledge, but I have heard that premium viewers are much more valuable to a channel than ad supported views. I also support channels I enjoy through Patreon as well. I would much rather pay and be a customer than do “free” services where my info is just the product for corporations.

I pay for a youtube premium family plan. Best money I spend monthly. I want to support the youtube creators that I watch, I don’t have to see ads (I block them anyway), and I get a music service included.

And thats the reason why I chose another instance. I want to be able to downvote when people post terrible things. Who knows how long it will take for moderates to remove something, or if they will at all.

I bought a handful of adapters because I like my wired headphones. Its a shame I have to do that though.

Can’t mourn reddit too much, so much good stuff is already here, and if one instance tries shady things, then you can just hop on over to another one.

Music in restaurants and bars is just too loud. I know why the music is loud, but I am still going to shake my fist at it like Grandpa Simpson.
