Found the poster who hasn’t been to Alabama.
I had a science teacher explain it back in high school the 90s before youtube existed. He went with the egg being first since the egg is what we call the new animal until it hatches, the shell is just the external container.
The baby chicken in the egg is the same chicken that hatches from the egg, but we call it an egg until it hatches. Egg first.
Big shoes!
You know socks come in different sizes, right?
So frustrating when the “auto complete” aspect of modern car windows means I cannot easily get the window half way closed or only a crack open. But I must be in the minority on that.
I love driving with all the windows open about 1/4 or 1/2 open when the weather is nice, and that has included cars I owned and various rentals over the years. All of the cars I have owned or rented for the last couple of decades require pushing hard enough to have a kind of ‘click’ feeling before it does the automatically all the way open or closed thing. I’m sure some car maker has a setup that makes it easy to trigger the fully open/closed accidentally though.
Does it not work manually if you only push it slightly on your car?
It is cut locally at the point of use by offloading the pollution and energy generation elsewhere. EV battery production as it is currently practiced is terrible, but also very far from where people actually use them.
They are net positive for sure, but only because of the potential for using less pollution energy generation instead of burning fossil fuels to move.
“You can yell by the slope that human sacrifices were practiced.”
This is because we intentionally build them the way we do because we expect to replace most of them in a relatively short period of time so we use the least amount of materials and the materials we use do things like corrode and rust unlike the giant rocks that ancient societies used in the structures that stuck around. A lot of our structures are also near waterways, which increases the decay.
We will still leave behind a lot of earthen structures like highway overpass ramps, stuff cut into mountains, and the giant holes from strip mining.
Biblically accurate snow angels.

Both Youtube and Netflix work perfectly fine for me in Firefix with uBlock Origin on default settings, everything loads up instantly and plays smoothly. Don’t even have pauses for ads on Youtube, it is like they don’t even exist.
In addition to the Brotherly love, we have multiple Samsung ML-1865W laser printers that have been consistently reliable for years with no janky printing software and I have even used the $6 or whatever bottle of loose powder to refill although the regular cartridges are more convenient.
Going laser and not HP is the most important parts.
I watched it in the theater and have had it on DVD since that was released and didn’t even think of the possible pun/double meaning until your post!
copy cat
Well shit, now I am wondering if that was intentional.
Excellent movie!
Sounds like Hollywood accounting where the movies with the largest gaps between production costs and ticket sales magically lose money.
One thing to keep in mind is that any kind of government is at risk of being the the group with the bigger stick. A dictatorship only works because the group that supports the dictator keeps them in power. A democracy can still treat some of its citizens terribly, and the structure of the government makes is harder to oppose than “the guy with the bigger stick”.
