I sincerely doubt this is accurate or why would they even bother.

There was definitely a time when python3 was not recommended and plenty of scripts weren’t yet differentiating between the two. Everything was breaking back then.

I do things about it rather than sitting in the false comfort that I’ll be unaffected as a straight, white, male.
